Компания OMRON начала выпускать новое поколение процессоров
популярных программируемых логических контроллеров серии
CJ. В новой серии ПЛК Омрон серии CJ2
значительно увеличены память программ и память данных. ЦПУ
максимальной производительности, CJ2H-CPU68-EIP, имеет память
программ 400 Kшагов (в 1.6 раз больше) и память данных 832Kслов (в 2
раза больше, чем память в контроллерах предыдущего поколения). Кроме
того, увеличена пропуская способность внутренней шины, что позволило
ускорить обработку входов/выходов. (Например, время выполнения
команды немедленного обновления для одного входа сокращено в 20 раз
по сравнению с CJ1, c 20 мкс до 1 мкс для команды LD). В дополнение
к этому, ускорены базовые и специальные команды, особенно по
обработке данных с плавающей запятой.
